We can make a difference. 2024
In collaboration with The Baytree Centre, I hosted my Radical Quilt Making Workshop, inspired by the banners of suffragettes. With 8 young girls and refugees, we created a quilt to explore the challenges they face in education and poverty. My role was to lead discussions, inspired by books, and support them in creating their individual patches and assembling the final piece. The completed quilt now hangs proudly in the centre's reception, welcoming members and reminding them of their resilience and the power of their community.

Note: This photo does not include the final logo, which was added after the piece was showcased at our House of Commons event and research launch. Waiting for final photos of the quilt in the centre’s reception.
