Fuck you, not me. 2019
Inspired by participatory art, such as the work of Yoko Ono, and the power of text in Barbara Kruger's art, this project was sparked by the removal of one of my pieces due to its depiction of the nude body and sexual violence.
By creating 60 lino prints with the phrase "Fuck you, not me," the project became a protest against the censorship of survivors’ voices, particularly those who have experienced sexual violence. I envisioned it evolving into a national campaign that would challenge censorship in public spaces
